Meeraboo, a boutique candle business born in the heart of the Australian countryside, has achieved a major milestone — their handcrafted luxury candles and home fragrance products are now available in select Harvey Norman stores nationwide.
Founded by a family in Canowindra, NSW, Meeraboo began as a passion project in 2014 - inspired by the beauty, simplicity, and scents of rural Australia. Each candle is lovingly hand-poured in small batches, using premium soy wax and carefully curated fragrances that tell a story.
“We started Meeraboo in our little country town from Mum’s kitchen table, never imagining our products would one day be sitting on the shelves of a retail giant like Harvey Norman,” said Dannielle Maere, Owner of Meeraboo. “This partnership is not just a business milestone — it’s proof that dreams built on authenticity, quality, and hard work can go far.”
Harvey Norman’s support of Australian-made products has opened the door for small regional businesses like Meeraboo to reach customers across the country. The new retail partnership will see Meeraboo stocked in over 80 Harvey Norman stores (and growing), giving shoppers the opportunity to experience the brand’s unique blend of luxury and homely charm in person.
“When Harvey Norman reached out to us earlier this year, I could have fallen off my chair. We manifested a big retailer for 2025, but I never thought it would be Harvey Norman.” Dannielle laughed.
“I had to ask how they found us, to which the Harvey Norman representative responded – Meeraboo is listed on many websites as the best Australian candles, which led her to search for our company further. She loved that our journey was not only very Australian – but wholesome. Moreover when they saw the physical product, they all loved it!” Dannielle explained.
“At Harvey Norman we like to supply Australian made & proudly support this.” The representative continued to explain.
Meeraboo centres their values around being hand-poured in Australia, proudly displaying the Australian-made logo on their products to show the authenticity.
